Working closely with various retail partners, our engineering team in Australia dedicated two years and $2 million to intensive R&D to create the Kepler Customer Behavior Sensor and the corresponding approach tailored for today’s retailers.
We pioneered the idea of in-store sensor technology designed to be invisible – tech that seamlessly integrates into the customer experience and your team’s workflow. Having complete control over the technology empowered us to implement customer behavior tracking in previously challenging retail environments, such as pop-up booths and large format stores with high shelves.
Additionally, we independently developed the Command Center, allowing retail operations teams to take immediate action rather than spending extensive time on data analysis. The mobile Command Center grants global retail managers full control over their entire store network while on the move. This platform was such a significant advancement that in June 2019, we were accepted into Microsoft’s ScaleUp accelerator program, an exclusive incubator admitting only 20 businesses annually.
With a crucial focus on maintaining absolute protection over shopper privacy, we recognize today’s invasive tracking systems – from security cameras to phone apps. While we can’t control others’ actions, we believe in setting a positive example by rejecting compromises on privacy. Proudly supporting the Privacy by Design project led by Dr. André Gygax from the University of Melbourne, we remain committed to safeguarding consumer privacy.
